Voice artist Lloyd Allison-Young chats with Dr Virginia Madsen prior to recording the script of the Portland Soundtrail. Drawing on her skills directing performers from her days with Radio National, Virginia has worked on this project from its inception. Thanks Macquarie University and the Department of Media for the use of the studio, and big thanks also to sound engineer Andrei Shabunov. A rich mix of oral history, archival papers and original music, the Portland Soundtrail will launch in the new year.
