Soundtrails is now working alongside a number of universities, from Huddersfield in the UK, to the Masters of Interactive Design and Electronic Arts at Sydney University or the Centre of Media and History at Macquarie. This has been a lot of fun with students taking audio walks in all sorts of new directions. It is clear that many universities now recognise the opportunities afoot to get in on developing high-end location based experiences. If you are involved in Augmented Reality or audio storytelling or history (the list goes on) and want to discuss ways to deliver geo-locative storytelling, whether as a one-off course, an ongoing consultancy, or building a unit into the university, we’d love to hear from you.
