Josies Gibson’s post on Linkedin is a response to the presentation, Soundtrails co-director, Hamish Sewell, recently gave to the Catalyst Network group. It is a deft summary of the journey we’ve been on with Soundtrails. What value can be apportioned to the idea of the heard/spoken, site-specific experience? how/where does it differ from video/podcasts? what models are working/not working? Such questions in Josie’s analysis, albeit the fabbo Q&A after the presentation, remind us of the deep layers to our storied world. Soundtrails looks forward to working with this group—from entrepreneurs, town planners, creative corporate and digital storytellers: and sees the conversation around locative audio and our relationship to stories places still has a long way to go.
