Information about you that we receive
… through the Soundtrails Mobile App
- When you are using the App we do not automatically collect any information about you.
- The only information the App sends to our servers is a date stamp so it can retrieve any updates that have been made to Soundtrails stories, or if there are any new Soundtrails.
- The date stamp is not stored on our servers.
… through Promotional Communications
If you receive email promotions, newsletters or any other promotional communications from us, you may ‘opt out’ and no longer receive these by following the directions given on those communications.
… when you email us
The only information you might directly give to us comes if you email us feedback, queries or comments. This information would include your email address and any other details you include in the email. If you interact with our social media site/s we may view any information your settings allow us to see.
… through the Website
When you access the Website we may collect information by cookies and other tracking technologies. These may be used for analytic and product improvement purposes, like seeing which pages on our Website are popular or determining whether email communications have been viewed.
… when you comment
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/.
After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
… when you upload images
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

… through embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
