Soundtrails extends a big thanks of gratitude to Bettina (Bee) Walter who recently left her position as a co Director with Soundtrails—leaving Dr Hamish Sewell at the helm. Bee was with us for over four years and we are all sad to see her go. Having run IT firms in London, then Punk Logic and Open Noosa on the Sunshine Coast, Bettina was well versed in digital culture and practices when she came to us. Bringing significant management skills as well as a clear-headed understanding of working across various digital platforms, Bee helped us move forward in very practical and important ways. She stepped us through our operations and license offering. She helped formalise our relationships with Creatio, our current developers, not to mention helped clarify how we worked with both clients and other sound producers. Soundtrails is so much better positioned today as both a platform and a production house thanks to Bee and all she brought with her. Now that she has gone, we realise the big task we now have to fill her shoes and push ahead. We wish Bee all the best as she heads off to carve out her own life.Â
