Canberra Uni Presentation: Narratives of Soundtrails

Opening titles for the 2024 Culture and Creativity seminar series of the University of Canberra

Some months back, Soundtrails founder and producer, Hamish Sewell, presented on Locative Audio & the New Narratives of Places and People at the University of Canberra for their Culture and Creativity Series. The presentation delved into the new ways narratives of places are being approached through Soundtrails and touched on the up-and-coming Consent  by former Canadian producer, Chris Brookes, as well as the Portland and Goonoowigall Soundtrails.

Thank you to all who attended and to Dr Paul Magee for organising this event and his hospitality.

This one’s for all of you who are serious about building compelling place based listening experiences and can appreciate the opportunities afoot to rethink and reshape the place-based story experience through locative media.
